Cataract phacoemulsification and anterior vitrectomy machine: The Centurion Vision System
This is the preferred machine by the majority of cataract surgeons both locally and internationally. The Centurion’s unique and patented multifunctional features provide the ease and safety during the procedure that translates to the successful restoration of sight. This machine is also capable of handling difficult and complicated cases.
Cataract surgery is currently a 30-minute-or-less procedure performed on an out-patient basis (no need for confinement). It can be done under eye drop anesthesia (no need for general anesthesia nor injections), is sutureless, without eye covers after surgery, with functional vision restored almost right after.
